*I didn't draw Spawn, I just had an idea for the piece and wanted to experiment with some blending.
I took an abstract render and used photoshop 7.0 to do a massive color manipulation to give it a "hard blood" feel, like an abstract blood. Something to the effect of Picasso. Then I used the spawn stock, added the halo around his neck, and used some blending options to give it the effect that the blood was drenching him. Then I cut the abstract render, and transformed it to add blood in other places. The shapes to the right were made with the pen tool.
